Ferrara ZTL: we buy your day permit

The Comune sells a €20 day access pass to anyone who only enters the ZTL occasionally. Pay here with your plate and date, and we buy it on the official portal before you drive in.

  • No SPID, no Comune account
  • Foreign plates welcome
  • Receipt by email

Parkito is not a channel of the Comune di Ferrara: we buy and register the permit on your behalf. The Comune's official channels remain available.

When the Ferrara ZTL is active and what the permit covers

Hours

The day pass is valid for the whole day, from 0:00 to 24:00. The Comune does not publish gate operating hours: treat the ZTL as active and follow the signs at the entrances.

What it covers

The permit covers the A Garibaldi, B Medievale, C Ercole I d'Este and D Certosa ZTLs. It does not cover the ZTL Duomo (corso Martiri della Libertà, piazza Cattedrale, piazza Savonarola, via Cairoli and nearby streets), which you can only enter with a specific permit issued at the counter, nor pedestrian areas.

Who doesn't pay

Guests of hotels and holiday homes in the ZTL have their plate registered by the property: give it to reception on arrival. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes first need clearance from the Polizia Locale.

The fine

Entering without a permit costs €83 to €332 (Italian Highway Code, art. 7), 30% less if paid within 5 days. The permit must be bought before entering.

The rules are set by the Comune di Ferrara and can change: always check the official website.

In green, the zones the permit covers: the same ones you see on the Parkito map, where you can also find parking outside the ZTL.
