Florence ZTL: we buy your day permit

Servizi alla Strada, the Comune's company, sells a ZTL day permit to anyone: €5 for transit only, €15 with parking. Pay here with your plate and date, and we buy it on the official portal before you drive in.

  • No SPID, no registration
  • Foreign plates welcome
  • Receipt by email

Parkito is not a channel of the Comune di Firenze: we buy and register the permit on your behalf. The Comune's official channels remain available.

When the Firenze ZTL is active and what the permit covers

Hours

Cameras are active Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 7:30 to 16:00. In summer, from the first Thursday of April to the first Sunday of October, there is also a night ZTL, with hours set each year by an ordinance.

What it covers

The permit covers the historic-centre ZTL. It does not allow entry into pedestrian areas or use of reserved lanes. The “transit only” permit does not include parking; the “transit and parking” permit also lets you park in residents' spaces inside the ZTL.

Who doesn't pay

Electric cars can obtain access by registering the vehicle on the Servizi alla Strada portal. Non-resident hybrids get no free access or discounts: they need the day permit. The day permit is only for vehicles under 3.5 tonnes.

The fine

Entering without a permit costs €83 to €332 (Italian Highway Code, art. 7), 30% less if paid within 5 days. The permit must be bought before entering: that's why we ask you to pay by the day before.

The rules are set by the Comune di Firenze and can change: always check the official website.

Where the permit is valid in Firenze

In green, the zones the permit covers: the same ones you see on the Parkito map, where you can also find parking outside the ZTL.

How the Firenze ZTL permit works with Parkito

Three steps, and a person on our team handles the second one: no account, no Italian tax code, no SPID.

01

Pay online

Choose how long and pay by card. In the checkout form, enter your plate and entry date.

02

We register the plate

A Parkito operator requests the permit on the Comune di Firenze portal for your plate and your date.

03

Drive in

You get the receipt by email. On the day, drive through the gate: the camera finds your plate on the authorised list.
